Description and Composition
Ezycoat Polymer render is essentially a full acrylic render that contains fillers and binders of the highest quality integrated with a fine graded quartz that makes it ideal for thin section rendering on a variety of cladding mediums.
This product has been specifically designed to achieve certain qualities which cannot be attained by dry mix modified cement render such as the Ezycoat EzySkim Render ,Ezypump, ECA and Ezycoat Super 6 . (Sometimes known as mineral based renders). Ezycoat Polymer render is a one part product that once mixed is ready for immediate use straight from the pail. It produces a render like finish with excellent adhesion and flexibility and can be applied to thickness of 1.5 to 2 mm in any 1 application.

Specifically designed for use over flexible cladding systems and pre rendered surfaces. It is very durable & hard wearing.
Surface Application: Suitable for application to Fibre cement sheeting, pre rendered surfaces, AFS, Ritek , Rendered Polystyrene Cladding, Koolwall Panel, Tilt Concrete & Modakboard* Refer to Technical Data Sheets (TDS). or Ezyspec for application procedures.
Mixing Procedure: Ready to use from the Pail.
Application Method: Ezycoat Polymer Render is applied by Steel Trowel and then finished with a plastic float or for best results finish with a sponge float for a render finish.
Packaging: 15 Lit. Plastic Pails.
Coverage: 8 to 15 sqm. per Pail. per Pail. *Consumption will varying depending on surface to be coated
Ezycoat Polymer render has been designed to produce a highly decorative external synthetic finish which is suitable for application to a variety of surfaces that would not normally accept a traditional render or modified skim render. Ezycoat Polymer render is ideally suited for application over propriety installed Fibre cement sheeted surfaces. Its ability to adhere to smooth surfaces and its flexible nature make it suitable for this type of application. It also suitable for use as a finish over existing traditional rendered or Ezycoat EzySkim Render ,Ezypump, ECA and Ezycoat Super 6 surfaces.
When applying Ezycoat Polymer render to any surface it is recommended that the surfaces be free of any contaminant which may affect the performance of the coatings and that any visible imperfections in the surface which may be transferred through to the finished surface be patched using Ezycoat Coarse or Smooth Patch.(see Ezycoat Coarse Patch and Smooth Patch Technical Data sheets for further advice.)
Once having provided a uniform flat substrate, apply a base coat of Ezycoat Hi Opacity or Masonry Sealer (see Ezycoat Hi Opacity & Masonry Sealer Technical Data Sheet for further advice.) maintaining even coverage. Then allow the treated surface to stand for approximately 1 hour, prior to applying Ezycoat Polymer render. Using a stainless steel plasterer’s trowel, evenly spreading the Ezycoat Polymer render over the surface.
Depending on the surface to be coated, it may be necessary to apply the Ezycoat Polymer render in 2 coats. The first being the leveling coat which will be left as a float finish and the second the finishing coat. The finishing coat may either be finished flat with a plastic trowel or lightly sponged off to provide a sandy finish to the surface.
Two coats of Ezycoat Membrane paint is then applied in accordance with the Ezycoat Membrane specifications, 48 hrs after the application of the Ezycoat Polymer render. This will complete the application process, producing a durable and aesthetically pleasing finish.
Due to the many different proprietary building systems available on the market, it is highly recommended that you contact our offices and request a copy of the Ezycoat specification for the building system you are using. EZYBUILD SPECS are readily available upon request either from our company representatives or our offices.

Ezycoat Polymer render is to be applied by suitably licensed persons holding a license for this trade as recognised by the legislative building authority for the relevant state to which the work is being carried out. Misuse of this product and/or non compliance with technical specifications will void any warranties weather verbal or written. Active Building Systems Pty Ltd reserves the right to change, update and republish these specifications without any notice. It is the user’s responsibility to attain the most current publication of Ezycoat Specifications from Active Building Systems Pty Ltd.

|Important Notes||Do not apply in temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius or 24 hrs prior to or after wet & rainy conditions. Do not apply in moist conditions. All walls must be free of moisture prior to application. All surfaces should be cleaned and free of any contaminant, releasing agent, fungal growth which may affect the performance of these coatings. Any imperfections which may become visible in the finished surface should be patched and leveled with Ezycoat Patching compounds. Any structural imperfections and/or cracks will need to stabilised prior to any further applications. The durability of the product in its original confection is guaranteed for 1 year as long as it is not exposed to direct sunlight or temperatures below 6 degrees. Ezycoat Polymer render is not suitable for use in areas prone to water logging ,submersion, continually damp and/or below ground. Walls were Ezycoat Polymer render is to be applied must be free draining. In the case of retaining walls the rear of the wall must be engineered to prevent any penetration of moisture or water through the wall in to the rear of the Ezycoat Polymer render. Failure to do so will result in damage to the Ezycoat Polymer render and is not covered by warranty. Excess Waste product should be disposed of in responsible manner following guidelines as set out by the local council’s bi-laws and Waste Disposal Procedures.|
