Eurostyle Smooth Set
Eurostyle Smooth Set has been specially formulated to act as a Smooth Finishing plaster that reproduces the finishes of yesteryear using the latest in material technologies that will allow the product to perform for years on end. Eurostyle Smooth Set is suitable for use over suitably prepared plasterboard, Fibre cement precast concrete and rendered surfaces. Its special formulation makes it an economical product that achieves finishes that were once reserved for costly and expensive imported products.

Surface Application: Exterior or interior application over a variety of suitably prepared building mediums such as Concrete Block, Brick, Fibre cement, Plasterboard and precast concrete surfaces.

Eurostyle Smooth Set is suitable for Exterior Or Interior application over a variety of suitably prepared building mediums such as Concrete Block, Brick, Fibre cement, Plasterboard and precast concrete surfaces. Using a specific finishing technique and a series of applications based on the quality of the base medium, the Eurostyle Smooth Set can be finished to provide a high gloss lustre or can be left in a more natural state depending on the application process adopted.
In order to allow the Eurostyle Smooth Set to maintain the finish as was intended for years to come, it is required that it be finished with the Eurostyle Gloss/Matt Sealer or the Cera Finish (Refer to Product TDS.). In order to achieve the best finish possible, we highly recommend that the applicator under go a training course or a demonstration to understand the true behavioural properties of the Eurostyle Finish Range, contact our offices for further information.
Eurostyle Venetian is a speciality product that has specific requirements when it comes to application. Prior to commencing any application process always ensure that the building medium to which the Eurostyle Venetian is to be applied has been installed to manufacturers specifications, if in doubt always refer the matter back to the client or builder for further consideration before commencing. The applicating surface must be sealed using Eurostyle Base Sealer (Refer to TDS.) prior to commencement of application. Always ensure that the applicating surface is free of any contaminants or free dust that may impede the performance of the coating system. If in doubt, please contact our offices for further advice. The Eurostyle Venetian must be mixed thoroughly with a mechanical mixer before use. Do not add water to the Eurostyle Venetian and always ensure the drum is sealed correctly after use, otherwise the product will dry out not be suitable for further use.
The application process should be done using high-quality stainless-steel Venetian trowels available from Active Building Systems. The application process of the Eurostyle Venetian is split into a 2 to 3 coating application process depending on the end finish that needs to be achieved and the quality of the original surface to which it is to be applied. The method of application is very important in order to achieve the desired finish. It is the responsibility of the product applicator to ensure they have had suitable training in the application of the product before attempting to use the product. Training & Demonstrations are available on request.
Due to the many different proprietary building systems available on the market, it is highly recommended that you contact our offices and request a copy of the Ezycoat specification for the building system you are using. EZYBUILD SPECS are readily available upon request either from our company representatives or our offices.

Eurostyle Smooth Set is to be applied by suitably licensed persons holding a license for this trade as recognised by the legislative building authority for the relevant state to which the work is being carried out. Important Notes | Do not apply in temperatures below 5 degrees Celsius or 24 hrs. prior to or after wet & rainy conditions. Do not apply in moist conditions. All walls must be free of moisture prior to application with a WME of no more than 15%. All surfaces should be cleaned and free of any contaminant, releasing agent, fungal growth which may affect the performance of these coatings. Any imperfections which may become visible in the finished surface should be patched and levelled with Ezycoat Patching compounds. Any structural imperfections and/or cracks will need to stabilised prior to any further applications. The durability of the product in its original confection is guaranteed for 8 months as long as it is not exposed to direct sunlight or temperatures below 6 degrees. Eurostyle Smooth Set is not suitable for use in areas prone to water logging, submersion, continually damp and/or below ground. Walls were Eurostyle Smooth Set is to be applied must be free draining. In the case of retaining walls the rear of the wall must be engineered to prevent any penetration of moisture or water through the wall in to the rear of the Eurostyle Smooth Set . Failure to do so will result in damage to the Eurostyle Smooth Set and is not covered by warranty. Excess Waste product should be disposed of in responsible manner following guidelines as set out by the local council’s bi-laws and Waste Disposal Procedures.
